Ragnar can be fought as a boss in Act 35.9: Right to Take the Fire Throne. She reappears in Act 37.3: To Become a King.

- Ragnar may have been named after the term Ragnarök. In Norse mythology, it refers to a series of future events culminating in a battle in which all of creation is burned down and almost all life is extinguished.
- Ifritah is the female equivalent of an Ifrit, a kind of chthonic spirit formed out of smoke and fire in Arabian folklore.
- The Agni skill is named after the eponymous god of fire in Hinduism.
- The Dragon Orb skill and the way it works is a reference to the namesake artifact from the massively popular Japanese media franchise, Dragon Ball.
- Ragnar is the first playable character in Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser not to utilize sprites, being rendered as a 3D model instead.
