As the closest aide of Jupiter, Ganymede serves to support Jupiter with no work outside the domain. All Celestials trust Ganymede's kindness and magnanimous personality, and no one doubts her actions. No, no one is capable of doubting her. Her actions are based on extensive calculations, as her mission is to deceive other Celestials for Jupiter.

Ganymede isn't just a simple aide of Jupiter. She is rather a shadow for Jupiter. By eradicating her emotions and feelings, Ganymede is able to foresee all upcoming situations and react to different cases. Void of emotions, Ganymede serves to fulfill her master's will and is able to even eliminate Jupiter if her master wills it.

The quills of loneliness behind her benevolent mask prick her occasionally, but Ganymede pays no attention to them. Her relationship with Io, Callisto, or Europa makes her even more dependent, but the emotions that torment her sharpen her to be more cool-headed toward her missions.

A holy relic that distorts the dimension to guide the flow of starlight.

Since Star Gate controls the flow of celestial bodies, it is considered one of the most powerful relics. Every time the relic is used, distortion must be reverted because the order of the celestial bodies may collapse and cause an astronomical catastrophe.

Due to the complexity and dangers of the relic, many Celestials are reluctant to use this relic. Only Ganymede, with her intensive calculations, could harness the great powers of Star Gate.

Ganymede can be fought as a boss in Act 39.3: Demon God Killer under the guise of Amal'thea. She evolves into the Angel of Order in Act 43.6: The Calling of Frost.

Ganymede, as the Distorted Shooting Star, must be defeated once again in Act 46.6: What's Not Needed in Heaven and Showdown 2.2: Two Angels.

    • The name Amal'thea is derived from Amalthea which is also a moon of Jupiter although not part of the Galilean satellites.

  • The Altair Vega skill shares the same names with the eponymous Rank S characters.
