Taking care of you in our parents' stead is my mission.

— Lidmir to Lire

Lidmir Eryuell is a chief leader of Eryuell Island and Lire's older brother.

Background[]

Lidmir is the one who brought Lire up after they lost their parents. Though he is not good at close combat, Lidmir wields supreme magical ability among the young magicians of Eryuell Island. Despite his young age, he is one of the major figures on Eryuell Island and holds great influence over the elves.

Lidmir is a calm individual with a great sense of responsibility and leadership. He was initially against Lire joining the Grand Chase but relented after time. He claims that taking care of Lire in place of their deceased parents is his mission, and develops a huge sister complex as a result. After Lire's departure, is rumored to hold her portrait and cry every night.

Story[]

Lidmir neither appeared nor was mentioned in the story of the game. However, information about him was published in KOG Studios' official Naver blog.

In the sequel[]

Queen Lire[]

During a peace gathering after Lire came back to Eryuell, the young leader Lidmir argued that the Seal of Storm was activated to stop the intruders from entering the island while she was away. Furthermore, he stressed that the outside world was too dangerous and that Lire herself saw it firsthand.

Act 26.1: Punish the Evil[]

After confirming if the return of Kaze'aze was true, Lidmir then questioned why the humans were not taking any action. Despite Ronan's explanation that the rising tension between Serdin and Kanavan made gathering troops to deal with the monster legion on the Ellia peninsula more difficult, the elf was nevertheless frustrated that all they could do was sit and watch.

Act 31.9: Secret Benefactor[]

Lidmir fell to his knees sobbing as Lire made it back safely to Eryuell Island following the Grand Chase's decisive victory over Decanee.

Act 32.1: The Sound of Footsteps Muted by Rain[]

The dragon Tiamat that arrived with Lidmir claimed to have come to Eryuell Island as the Queen of the Ice Spirits, adding that she did not need to state her business to mortals. However, Lidmir agreed with Lire that they must first discuss with all the people of Aernas before Tia made any decisions that may directly affect the world.

Trivia[]

  • In Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser, Lidmir's character design was revamped and his appearance bears a resemblance to Grandiel.
    • Despite multiple appearances in the main story, Lidmir has yet to have an animated character portrait for his dialogues.
