Yeah, I haven't completed his likability, but there are videos of it so technically I can update them. Come to think of it I should do so before more likability and world 8 comes otherwise the backlog will be too huge.
So that article badly needs an overhaul, but to be completely honest... I have no motivation to do it myself. This would sound very childish and selfish of me but all the boring stuff to look for just doesn't interest me enough and so I was wondering if you can shoulder the work for this one (T_T)
I thought of that but because they lack descriptions, I feel like they would be better off separated and that we should keep the character pages just about the characters. That's why I added 'Pet' in the infobox so they still have place in the page despite not being relevant enough to the character.
Off the top of my head, she's Heitaros's ally, one of the Four Demon Kings along with Veigas and Werner, and has some enemity with Veigas where - if I'm not mistaken - she was killed hy him in the past, but that's all I can remember. I didn't pay too much attention to her story.
Regarding the Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser pages for Kounat and Underworld, it would be best if we put all the information in a single article like how it was for the continents in the PC version. I personally think the readers will find it more convenient and less confusing that way. Also, there aren't really any conflicting information to merit a separate page unlike the characters were they have a different set of skills from the original.
If you are fine with my suggestion, you can ignore the navbox I made for the worlds as I find them pointless myself.
I don't mind because, like you said, there isn't much conflicting information and it's rather pointless to make so many pages when it simply makes it harder for readers to search for information. I'll go ahead and make the necessary changes.
Thanks for considering! Btw about Hyde, I'm not sure how to identify her as. Is she a demon or something else entirely? Also, should we create a page for 'Heaven' since it has been mentioned a few times in the story or is it the same as the Spirit World?
I think we should hold off on categorizing Hyde for the moment until World 6. It hasn't actually been stated what race she is, although the tooltips for Raid 5.1 mention that the Underworld Train crew members are soulless.
About 'Heaven', I'm not sure either. I could take a look at Werner's korean profile to compare the hangul, but other mentions of heaven in the acts scattered around may not be referring to the same thing.
Alright, so I took a look at Werner's profile. It does, actually, state the hangul 천계, read as cheongye, corresponding to the translation Heaven in Werner's profile. As with all previous worlds, Elyos/Demon World -> 마계magye, Underworld -> 명계myeongye, and Spirit World -> 정령계jeonglyeong-gye, Heaven might be an actual world. Act 19.1 also has Kiwi mention a God World -> 신계singye.
Evidently, this means that it is not the Spirit World, because they do not share the same hangul. It also means that it does not fit any of the worlds mentioned thus far. So, I don't know what exactly it is referring to either.
One more thing on the Hyde categorization that I realized while looking through the acts: In Act 17.7, Oz mentions about the body, soul and memory and gives a couple of terms for two of the combinations: "Undead are soulless bodies with memories (+Body, +Memory, -Soul). Ghosts on the other hand are bodiless souls who move based on their thoughts (+Soul, +Memory, -Body)."
Assuming the tooltip to be literal that the Underworld Train crew members are soulless, Hyde could possibly fit into the undead category. Of course, this is mostly speculation from information given to us so far.
No, it's definitely Spirit World.
Underworld uses '명계'.
Spirit world uses '정령계'.
We probably should come to a consensus about that Hardliners/Extremists translation too, as well as a lot of other details like the Guilty Seven naming and Duel/Void. Otherwise future transcriptions will be quite a pain to correct/adjust.
Oh, I see. I thought it was Underworld because of the prison thing. About 'Hardliners', I'm certain it was meant to be Extremists and that these terms were being used interchangeably for some reason. One example is that 'Extremists' appear in the loading screen while 'Hardliners' can be found in Veigas' description (which I replaced btw). It's just that in recent updates, the script has been noticeably subpar and there are terms that NAGC did not use in the story. I figured I would fix that to avoid confusion for those who visit the old pages.
When the rest of G7 get released then I guess majority wins. About 'Void', I named his GCDC page the same so that it connects to the PC article. Anything else 'Duel' is appropriate especially that he appears more often now. Your call and admin Ellie since you guys are OG editors ^^
Should we create a page specifically for the annotations somewhere? That way it would help to collate not just for the viewers but also for us who maintain the wikia the various terminology and translations used.
I hope they didn't go back to the translator who did the original grand chase pc game. The translation in the last few seasons were so horrible this one is starting to become reminiscent of that. They somehow even mixed up the Underworld with the Demon World in the finale of Raid 4 in the scene with Rufus... It'll be such a pain to have to deal with images with mistranslated information that can't be corrected...
How to add sound files in the Wiki like this? The English voices from Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser are ready to be uploaded but I don't know how to make templates like those in the characters' PC articles.
It's been a long time since I did it but I distinctly remember having to convert the original file using a third-party software into a .ogg format. Uploading of the sound file was done normally on the same page where you would add photos.
Basically, you take the name of the sound file that you uploaded, eg. "Elesis Voice 1", and replace it where "Rin1 Voice GameStart" would be in the example on the template page so that it would look something like:
Hi! There's a problem in the homepage where contents in the right column were cropped on screens with 4:3 aspect ratio. Other wikis such as Fate/Grand Order Wikia don't seem to have this problem so I'm not sure what I missed. Do you know by chance how to fix it? ^^;
Unfortunately, I do not know how to fix this issue. I am also unable to recreate the problem when I tried a display using 1400×1050. Do you happen to have a screenshot of some sort to show what it looks like when cropped?
