The Polaris Seeker is the helmsman of the Celestial scout airship Aeosporos.
Background[]
The Polaris Seeker is an android that steers the special cruise ship of Aeosporos and appears to have direct control over the operation and upkeep of the whole spacecraft.
Story[]
Act 44.6: Time to Prove[]
As the alarmed Kudan questioned what was being done to Aeosporos, the Polaris Seeker informed him that the analysis of the unidentified crash was taking longer than expected and suggested that he examine the damage report. While assuring the captain that the crew facility was secure, the helmsman also said that the ship could not maintain control over the quarantine walls and that the issue lay in the D sector, which, to his dismay, was what he had requested to be designated as an "officially non-existent sector". Kudan ordered that it be sealed off, but the Polaris Seeker reiterated that the ship had lost control of the quarantine walls, and separating the D sector would violate his prior command. With the android already malfunctioning, Kudan fled.
Act 44.7: Voidal Hazard[]
Kudan informed Aikee that they needed to abandon Aeosporos since he had lost control of the helmsman, but to their horror, they quickly realized that the Polaris Seeker also controlled the escape pods.
Act 44.9: I Have Control[]
Aikee feared that the Polaris Seeker, who had altered the course of the ship towards the Void Zone, had succumbed to the malignant entities. Ai asked for confirmation from Mari, believing that the android could be taken over by such artificial intelligence.
Ai succeeded in gaining control over the Polaris Seeker, and, in the process, changed the steersman's appearance as they entered the second phase as one.
Act 45.1: Arrival at Celestial World?[]
Among other accusations, Kudan also claimed the Polaris Seeker that Mari supposedly had stolen aboard Aeosporos was made to falsely testify in the Celestial Court. Ai explained that they wished to return the android but had overheard the captain say he would rather dispose of it.
Act 47.1: Thrust Forward! Aeosporos[]
Mari asked Ai whether she still had access as the Polaris Seeker when they learned that the onslaught by the False God Tepes had left them short of captains to man more spaceships. Mayden said that while Ai's body was that of the helmsman, it would be useless because Kudan had already undone the alterations she had made and removed the android's access.
The Grand Chase headed toward the hangar when the panic-stricken Aeosporos Troopers blocked their way, demanding that they give them access to the Polaris Seeker.
Act 47.3: Enter the Celestial World[]
Just when Tepes thought he was given control over Aeosporos, Ai pointed out that the person the system addressed as captain was Kudan, who the False God was possessing, and stated that Kudan was the master of her body as the Polaris Seeker, temporarily granting herself the position of master in his name.
Attacks[]
The Polaris Seeker can be fought as a boss in Act 44.9: I Have Control.
Trivia[]
Ai in her basic form.
- Interestingly, the Polaris Seeker's design resembles the image Ai projects into despite having no relations between the two.
- When Ai was eventually made playable, her Lost Technology avatar had a design that also bears a striking resemblance to the Polaris Seeker.
