Thieves dual wield daggers in combat and confound enemies with their incredible speed. They attack with speed, preferring to finish their enemies with one, carefully aimed blow.

As a first class, Thief does not need to be unlocked; Lass starts as this class.

Basic Movements

Keystrokes	Name	Effect
	Basic Combo	Lass slashes once then kicks twice.
+	Critical Attack	In the middle of his combo, Lass swings both his blades forward.
+	Double Attack	At the end of his combo, Lass performs a backflip kick to knock the opponent into the air.
++++	Rapid Slash	Lass repeatedly twirls his blades before swinging them forward.
+	Jump Attack	Lass jumps up and swings one of his blades.
	Double Jump	While in midair, Lass performs a second jump.
++	Kunai Toss	After a double jump, Lass flips and throws two kunai straight down. Similar to Lire's arrows, they can be blocked.
	Dash	Lass dashes forward. Holding down the key causes him to run.
++	Dash Attack	While dashing, Lass swings his blades twice, then slashes rapidly, and performs a backflip kick to knock the opponent into the air.
+	Grab	Lass grabs his opponent then performs a spinning kick on them. (Note: Both players are invincible throughout the animation.) (Note: Only works in PvP; Dungeon monsters cannot be grabbed.) (Note: Due to lag, it may not work, or may intercept the opponent's attack/skill.)

LVL 1 Basic	Impact Slash (Thunder Slash)	Lass throws a wave of energy forward.
LVL 1 Purchased	Double Slash	Lass slashes twice then throws an energy sphere. Can be purchased for 500 Cash for 500 uses.
LVL 2 Basic	Fatal Fury Tempest (Evil Attack)	Lass performs a jab that has a 50% chance of dealing severe or minor damage. The chances of success can be increased if Shadow Vanish is active when performing the special, but it only works in PvP. In PvP, the opponent will either be instantly put into Fatal or will receive a simple stun with no damage. In Dungeons, the skill will either deal a large amount or a small amount of damage.
LVL 2 Purchased	Blood Bash	Lass performs a jab that nullifies the opponent's natural HP regeneration at a 100% rate for 30 seconds. Can be purchased for 600 Cash for 500 uses.
LVL 3 Basic	Final Strike Chaser	Lass leaps back while throwing numerous deadly energy waves to the ground.
LVL 3 Purchased	Guardian Strike	Lass throws a lethal bomb that forms into a skull that continuously damages anything on contact. The skull is also orbited by swirling lightning that strikes only once. Can be purchased for 700 Cash for 500 uses.
LVL 4 Special	Dread Breaker	Lass creates a ball of high density, swirling energy that is formed into a shuriken and hurled at his foes. The attack travels fast across the map but slowly through enemies and upon contact, Lass teleports behind the target and flings a second Dread Breaker from behind. (Note: The angle of both Dread Breakers can be slightly changed up or down. Even so, the Dread Breaker curves upward or downward.)
LVL 4 Special	Gust Thunder	Lass throws four kunais in four directions that turn into symbols, then electric lines connect the symbols to form a cage before Lass breaks it apart, leaving the surviving opponents electrocuted.

Trivia

The Elsword character Elsword has an attack called "Double Slash" where strikes twice, the latter bringing down a powerful swing.
The Elsword character Elsword has an attack called "Fatal Fury" where he smashes the target four times with the sword and ends off with a quick spin.
The Elsword character Elsword has an attack called "Final Strike" where he generates a black hole that pulls in all enemies and then creates an explosion that deals massive damage.
The Elsword character Rena's Fatality was based off of the fatal mechanic of Fatal Fury Tempest.
The attack frames of the Elsword character Raven's Shockwave was based off of Lass's Final Strike Chaser.
The Elsword character Eve has an attack called "Hornet Sting" where she fires a single missile that deals two powerful hits.
Before the release of his Skill Tree, Lass simply held his daggers in front of him. After the release, he holds them to his side with his body slightly angled to match this stance.
The Thief is the only class that holds and fights with his weapons with reverse grip. Though the Gladiator generally holds his weapon in reverse, he fights with it normally.
Despite that a thief generally steals from opponents, he only has one attack that involves stealing.
- The thief class seems to be more of an assassin or a ninja instead.
Although in-game describes Thief's Dread Breaker as a spinning dagger, it is actually a sphere that, with massive energy, takes the form of a spinning shuriken; there is no trace of a dagger within it.
Thief is Lass' only job that can run but cannot air dash.
