A novice Ice Spirit who takes on the role of the human who summoned her to Aernas.

She gained a bond with a human by saving the life of a young summoner who collapsed in a snowy wasteland shortly after summoning her. When she regained consciousness, she introduced herself as the Grand Duke, ruler of the region. Seeing how the human was so weak, her words were strange to Tia, who had grown up in a society of spirits. Spirits are divided into ranks based on the power they possess. The highest ranking spirits like Tia become dragons. The strongest of these dragons becomes a Spirit King. Tia was curious about what possible special abilities she had that allowed someone so vulnerable like her to rise to the position of Grand Duke. Thus, she decided to stay by her side and observe the humans.

The girl spoke out for a better future for her country, the Duchy of Eldfell. However, her sincere voice was not heard by the nobles, who refused to recognize her as the true ruler. At first, their disrespectful attitude offended Tia. But soon their behavior became less noticeable. Tia saw the true character of a king when the girl demonstrated eagerness and sincerity, undeterred by the uncooperative nobles' attitudes. From there, Tia secretly used her dragon's authority to intimidate the nobles and help her carry out her policies. Despite all the help Tia gave, the girl's failing health eventually gave out, and the nobles took advantage of this to revolt.

No longer able to help from the shadows, Tia decided to step into the forefront. First, she sent the girl to the Spirit World to recover safely from the nobles, and then Tia took her place. Tia wanted to punish the unruly nobles who dared to challenge the king's authority. She borrows the title of Grand Duke for a time, hoping that the girl will return and show her the true ruler she deserves.

There are numerous accounts of dragons descending to Aernas in the ancient texts. Tia is not the first dragon to descend on the human world, but most of the time when dragons have appeared in the human world, it has been recorded as a natural disaster or catastrophe.

She introduced herself as the Grand Duchess of this country, the Duchy of Eldfell. She said her name is Anna Eldfell. Apparently, she couldn't let the person who saved her life go? I was intrigued. A king so young. How can she be so weak and still be a king? On top of that, she's a king, and she's lying in the middle of a snowy field in her own country? I wanted to see what in the world had happened to her. So I followed her.

Dragon's Patience

The entire kingdom was surprised as the lost king had returned. Not in the way I thought. In a different sense. Eyes that showed annoyance, thinking of how she came back alive, why she's still alive. Yes. The humans, the nobles, were disrespecting their king. I didn't like their arrogance, their insolence… I thought about just wiping them all out, but I saw Anna's face and decided to wait. She knew the nobles looked down on her. But they were part of the country she was supposed to rule… She believed that if she worked hard enough to be a good king, they would change. Although Anna is a powerless king, she has a heart worthy of a ruler. I decided to honor her for that. I chose to honor her by letting her keep the stupid humans alive. Yeah, yeah. I didn't kill them.

She tried to change the country single-handedly, and as her health deteriorated… The nobles revolted as if they were just waiting for the right moment. Trivia[]

The term jarl refers to a Norse title of nobility in Scandinavia during the Viking Age. It denotes a chieftain set to rule a territory on behalf of a king.
The name Skadi is derived from Skaði, a giantess and goddess associated with skiing, bowhunting, winter, and mountains in Norse mythology.
Interestingly, the character Anna Eldfell mentioned in Tia's story in her Job Change shares the same surname as Kallia—a new playable character introduced exclusively in the original game since its reopening as GrandChase Classic.
